Since 1979, flexibility and technology characterize the CARETTA TECHNOLOGY and today permit the company to be one of the European leaders in the production of water-jet and plasma machines and robots working on the bi-dimensional and tri-dimensional logic. 
Despite the continuous growth of the main business, the wish for innovation and diversification of the products offered, led CARETTA TECHNOLOGY in 2006 to finalize the important agreement with JiR which, through its Engineering Division, will collaborate to the development of new projects in the bikes sector. 
The parallelism with the KONICA MINOLTA Honda Team and with a high technological impact structure as JiR, will allow CARETTA TECHNOLOGY to profit of an important technical-commercial synergy for the future.

Caretta Technology srl is a small engineering company in the Vicenza hinterland engaged in the development of machines for working sheet metal using various technologies, from water to plasma. Its foundation and evolution constitute a typical example of the proverbial entrepreneurial drive in Northeast Italy. The stages are outlined by its managing director, Eros Caretta, who manages the Caretta Group companies along with his four brothers.
"Caretta was established in 1979 on the wishes of my father who, while working with satisfaction in a company in the area, cultivated a strong desire to create his own business in the engineering sector for his children and sacrificed his evenings and holidays to do so. 
My father died in 1986 and the family (I was the eldest child and was 18) decided to start a die-cutting business. The business developed well and in 1998 we began to assess the possibility of introducing waterjet production technology into the company. In 2000 we purchased a waterjet which, among other things, provided us with an opportunity to enter the subcontracting market in the marble, engineering and plastics sectors, etc.. A series of unresolved problems gradually emerged as the machine was being used, preventing the implementation of all the potentials we deemed possible, and so we began to carry out a series of technical improvements. Caretta Snc is currently engaged on three fronts: the die-cutting works, die-cutting of behalf of third parties and cutting using waterjet and plasma technology.
Caretta Technology was established at the end of 2001 for the purpose of producing machine tools, plasma systems and, in particular, 2D and 3D waterjets and associated purification systems. Today we have installed 70 systems for customers in Italy, Europe and the Arab Emirates. The company is obtaining success, in particular, for its versatility and its ability to find technical and economic solutions for many problems linked with the machining of the most varied metals. We intend to proceed along this road as we have great technological potential and applicative development at our disposal and so we wish to reinforce current markets and open more new outlets without excluding - and indeed encouraging - the possibility of new business ventures with other partners."
